Moustache Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide Part 11 | A Christmas Gift From Bob

Christmas Day is almost upon us and the world is still caught up in the Covid-19 pandemic. So we here at The Movie Moustache decided to continue with a Christmas theme for our Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide. This time we're looking at the sequel to the much beloved 'A Street Cat Named Bob'. As always you can check out our Moustache Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide in its entirety by clicking here . After leaving his publisher's Christmas party, James Bowen (Luke Treadaway) witnesses an event that causes him to look back on his and Bob's last Christmas busking on the streets of London. One that proved to be the most challenging, as James had to fight to stop animal welfare officers from taking Bob away from him. There's nothing quite like watching a heart-warming animal story, especially at Christmas. Luke Treadaway returns to his beloved role as James Bowen, the man struggling with his own demons who rescued a cat and was himself rescued. Seeing him reunited

Moustache Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide Part 7 | Loudermilk

With the world still very much caught in the grasp of Covid-19, England is back in lockdown for at least four weeks. But it's not all doom and gloom, because with the return of lockdown comes something a little more fun... our Moustache Streaming Survival Guide is back, and this time we've got a hilarious comedy series for you. As always you can check out the other instalments in our survival guide by clicking here . Sam Loudermilk (Ron Livingston) is a recovering alcoholic living in Seattle. He may be sober, but he has a bad attitude and is generally pissed off at the entire world, something he seems to take out on almost anyone.  As a substance abuse counsellor he leads the local Alcoholics Anonymous group, and the quirky misfits who attend often bare the brunt of his negativity.  In fact the only person who he's nice to is his best friend and sponsor, Ben (Will Sasso), who has a few issues of his own to deal with. From Peter Farrelly and Bobby Mort comes a hysterical yet

Borat: Subsequent MovieFilm | Average Guy Movie Review

Fourteen years ago Borat Sagdiyev (Sacha Baron Cohen) made a film which brought great shame on his home country of Kazakhstan. After spending many years in prison, he is given the chance to put things right. He must return to the US&A with a gift for Vice President Mike Pence, one that will ingratiate Premier Nursultan Nazabayev (Dani Popescu) with Donald Trump and help to bring Kazakhstan into the big leagues. But Borat isn't travelling alone, this time his daughter Tutar (Maria Bakalova) - who has dreams of being the next Melania Trump - is along for the ride. In times like these it's reassuring to know that there is someone out there who isn't afraid to face the facts, to accept our reality and to deal with it sensibly. However, I never thought that someone would be Borat Sagdiyev. Yes, the number four journalist in all of Kazakhstan is back on another hilarious adventure, and he's here to lay it all out for us, to show us the world - by which of course I mean th

Moustache Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide Part 2 | Bosch

The lockdown continues this Easter weekend, and despite the absolutely glorious weather it's important that we stay at home. On that note, here's another TV show to keep you entertained; 'Bosch', available on Amazon Prime. Check out the rest of our streaming survival guide by clicking here . Follow L.A.P.D. Homicide Detectives Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) and Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) as they work to solve an endless stream of murders in the infamous Hollywood Division of Los Angeles. As well as a heavy caseload, the two must also navigate the perils of their personal lives, including marriage, divorce and parenthood. Their cases - some of which hit a little too close to home - often lead the two into trouble within the department and with the city's political hierarchy as well. But since when did that ever get in the way of the search for the truth?  Based on the series of novels by Michael Connelly, each season beautifully recreates the books

Moustache Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide Part 1 | Star Trek: Picard

In these unique times, we find ourselves spending a lot more time indoors. So I thought it might be helpful to point out some great movies and TV shows available on streaming that could help break the boredom. In part 1 I'm looking at Star Trek: Picard on Amazon Prime. It has been twenty years since the events of Star Trek: Nemesis, Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) has retired from Starfleet and is living out his days on the family vineyard. But when a young woman comes to him for help, Picard must journey into the dark void of space once again. Only this time he's doing it without Starfleet, forcing him to find a ship, and more importantly a crew willing to help him in his mission. Returning to one of the signature roles of your career can be risky, especially when the character is as beloved as Jean-Luc Picard. Luckily, Patrick Stewart makes it look easy, you wouldn't think it had been almost two decades since he last sat in the captain's chair. Picard

Amazon is Developing a Jack Reacher Series

Amazon has won the rights to develop a show based on the novels by Lee Child for their streaming service. The show will be produced by Amazon, along with Skydance Television and Paramount Television, and will follow the ex-military drifter as he travels the US, single-handedly solving problems and fighting crime. Think of Reacher as a one man A-Team. The character was previously played by Tom Cruise in two movies (Jack Reacher and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back), based on the eleventh and eighteenth books in the series. Christopher McQuarrie, who acted as writer/director on the first movie and producer on the second, will serve as executive producer on the show. This is to be the third series of novels developed by Amazon Studios into a TV show. Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch novels are the source for one of the studios longest running shows; 'Bosch', starring Titus Welliver as the veteran LAPD Homicide Detective. Last year 'Jack Ryan' - based on the novel

The Beech Boys Season 1 | Average Guy TV Review

There are many great questions that have both driven and plagued the human race throughout the centuries: "Why are we here?" "Where are we going?" "What is the meaning of life?" But the most important question of all hits a little closer to home: "What do the pool cleaners really get up to when you're not around?" Are you sure you want to know? Well here's your chance to find out. Trey (J.J. Caroll) and Ethan (Zach Castle) are the Beech Boys, it's their job to clean every pool on the Beechwood estate. But it's fair to say that the boys aren't always totally focused on doing their work, a trait that has a tendency for getting them into trouble. Between that and Trey's abuse of their clients, the Beech Boys are out of favour with the Home Owners Association. Now facing termination, will Trey and Ethan be able to save their jobs - and their easy life by the pool - before it's too late? From the creato

Parallel | Average Guy Movie Review

According to the multiverse theory, there are an infinite number of parallel universes. And each one could contain a parallel version of every one of us, some quite similar, and some very different. What would you do if you could see life through the eyes of just one of your "parallels"? That's the question new couple Heather (Faye Sewell) and Neil (David Magowan) have to ask themselves when they meet Machlis (Brian Carter), a medium who can show them the other side. Directed by Ieva Makselyte, produced by Alexander Cooper, written by David Magowan and inspired by erotic thrillers of the 1990's, Parallel is a dark look at obsession and the multiverse theory. Have Heather and Neil been brainwashed, or is all this real?   For some the idea of seeing yourself in a parallel universe would be a nightmare. Machlis could be a fraud, looking to hypnotise you in order to rob you blind. But for others it wouldn't matter, t he service Machlis provides could be a w
