Captain Britain and Deadpool in the MCU

Who - and I'm talking to the British readers here - would like to see a British Marvel superhero enter the MCU? Granted there have already been two British characters of note in Marvel movies, but Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is very much retired, and James Montgomery Falsworth (JJ Feild) hasn't been seen since the end of World War 2. Maybe it's time for a British superhero. We Got This Covered is reporting that a source has confirmed Marvel plans to introduce Captain Britain into the MCU at some point during Phase 4.  Brian Braddock was a scientist working at the Darkmoor nuclear research centre. During an attack on the facility, Braddock went for help but crashed his motorcycle. Badly injured, Braddock was visited by the Omniversal Guardian who gave him the choice to become a superhero. By making the right choice, Braddock became Captain Britain and is gifted with several powers including superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, reflexes, senses and sup

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME | Another Moustache Trailer Reaction

With Endgame taking the world by storm, we're now in a better place to appreciate the aftermath of what has happened. First up, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Needless to say there will be many spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so if you haven't seen it stop reading now. If you have seen it, but haven't seen the new Far From Home Trailer - or you just want to watch it again - check it out below. *Spoiler Warning* We join Peter Parker (Tom Holland) at a low point in Far From Home. The poor kid has suffered a lot in his life, having lost his parents and his Uncle Ben, now he has the loss of his friend and mentor to deal with as well. It makes sense that the superhero life would be getting a bit much for him, and that he just wants to take a break, be a kid for a while. Obviously this being a superhero movie, that's not going to happen, no matter how many times he ignores Nick Fury's (Samuel L. Jackson) calls. Holland has demonstrated some real talent in

Captain Marvel | Average Guy Movie Review

During a mission for Starforce, Kree warrior 'Vers' (Brie Larson) tracks a group of Skrulls - lead by Talos (Ben Medelsohn) - to Earth circa 1995. There she discovers that they are searching for a hidden device, one that could tip the balance of the war between these two races in the Skrulls' favour. But does 'Vers' have more of a connection to this planet than she first realised? The only person willing to help her find out is a young Agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) of S.H.I.E.L.D. Directing team Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck deliver an origin story for what is considered to be the most powerful hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Carol Danvers - A.K.A. 'Vers', A.K.A. Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). But in order to do it, they have thrown the Marvel Guide to Origin Stories right out the window. When we first meet 'Vers', she already has her powers and no memory of her life before gaining them. Which means the audience gets to discover who s

Spider-Man: Far From Home | Moustache Trailer Reaction

Well it has finally arrived, and the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home does not disappoint. Here's what we thought. Needless to say the trailer does contain some spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so read on at your own peril... Not seen the trailer yet? Check it out below: First of all, this is a great trailer, lots of intriguing snippets and no real spoilers - apart from the aforementioned Endgame spoilers anyway. Jon Watts returns as director, continuing to develop the story and characters first seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Peter (Tom Holland) is still working as the friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler, something Aunt May (Marissa Tomei) is aware of. With the help of Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), they are using Pete's alter ego to do some charity work. There might even be some sparks flying between Happy and May. With a school trip to Europe on the cards, the teenage Avenger is looking forward to just being a teenager for a while, even electin

Captain Marvel | Jude Law's Character Confirmed

Spoiler Alert It has finally been confirmed who Jude Law will be playing in the upcoming Captain Marvel. Many have speculated, and it seems their speculation was correct. According to the official Captain Marvel page on the Disney website Law will be playing Mar-Vell, leader of the Starforce. Which makes him Captain Marvel's (AKA Carol Danvers) boss. The question is; how will it affect their relationship when Danvers (played by Brie Larson) returns to Earth? First hinted at during Avengers: Infinity War's end credits scene, we know Nick Fury has a good relationship with Captain Marvel. Now we get to see how that relationship came about. It seems that during the 1990's, the Earth was caught in the middle of an inter-galactic war between the Kree and Skrulls. When an event causes her to crash into a Blockbuster Video Store (the youngsters among us may not know what that is), Captain Marvel chooses to defend her planet of origin. But will that choice set her at

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Filming Pushed to 2021

According to Production Weekly ( @prodweek ), filming of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (under the working title "Hot Christmas") has been pushed to 2021. Which means we likely won't see a release until 2022. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise given the recent controversy that resulted in James Gunn being fired by Disney. Now they need time to find a replacement director. Taika Waititi is said to be one of the frontrunners, which would make sense after his work on Thor: Raganarok. I think Waititi's crazy style would fit well with a Guardians movie. But will this delay have other repercussions for the Guardians? Dave Bautista - who was very vocal about wanting Gunn reinstated - has said he's not sure if he will return for a third Guardians movie. The good news however, according to Gunn's brother Sean (Kraglin in GOTG Vol. 1&2) the script Gunn wrote is still being used. In a tweet James Gunn described the Vol. 3 script as "

Ant-Man and the Wasp | Average Guy Movie Review

After the events of Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is under house arrest. Because of his actions - and their association with him - Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) have been in hiding ever since. Their research into the Quantum Realm however, has drawn the attention of a few unsavoury characters, including the mysterious "Ghost" (Hannah John-Kamen) and Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins) - a dealer in black market tech. So when a chance to save Hope's mother - Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) - presents itself, Hank and Hope will need Scott's help if they're to have any chance of success. Set just before Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp sees Lang return to his small corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whereas Ant-Man was a heist movie, director Peyton Reed has described this as part action movie, part romantic comedy, inspired by movies like Midnight Run. Much like its predecessor, Ant-Man and the Wasp is one of the li

Avengers: Infinity War | Average Guy Movie Review

It has been ten years since Iron Man first flew into cinemas. In that time fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have enjoyed a rollercoaster ride of awesome movies...and some not so awesome movies. But all great things must come to an end, and the culmination of the last ten years has begun with Avengers: Infinity War. Picking up where Thor: Ragnarok left off, things aren't looking good for our heroes; the Avengers are divided, half of them are wanted by the authorities, Thor and Banner are far from Earth and have just encountered Thanos' ship; Sanctuary 2. The Mad Titan is planning to wipe out half of all life in the universe and to do that he needs all six Infinity Stones. And the only people standing in his way aren't talking right now, but they do have some new friends to help them, including the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and the armies of Wakanda. But will that be enough? The Russo Brothers have once again delivered. There ar

Black Panther | Average Guy Movie Review

Set a week after the events of Captain America: Civil War, T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) travels home to be crowned King of Wakanda. But before he can decide the future of his nation, an old enemy, Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) joins forces with a mysterious stranger (Michael B. Jordan) to threaten Wakanda and challenge T'Challa's reign. In order to face this new threat, the young King will have to rely on all those he trusts...including another outsider. Ryan Coogler, the director behind Fruitvale Station and Creed helms the 18th movie in the MCU and the first to feature a black superhero in the titular role. Much like Thor: Ragnanrok, there's a degree of separation to Black Panther, it's very much a stand alone movie. But it's also very important to the wider MCU because of the major role Wakanda will play in Avengers: Infinity War. Writer Joe Robert Cole described the story as a cross between The Godfather and the James Bond films, "a big operatic
