George (Clayton Bury) is an avid player in an adult hockey league. He once had a shot at going pro, but a questionable decision cost him everything. Now he sees a teammate going down a similar path and struggles with how to handle it. Thanks to some clever visual effects this is a short film that definitely lives up to its name, with every scene made to look like it was filmed using a Super 8 camera. The production value on Super 8 Hockey  is rather impressive, including a couple scenes shot on the ice. Although ice hockey isn’t really what this story is about. Nicholas Rousseau and Lori Ann Potts deliver an interesting moral quandary for their star to mull over, and Clayton Bury does a good job playing a man with a lot on his mind. After the events of Captain America: Civil War , Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) is on the run from everybody, and looking to simply disappear. But the arrival of a strange package leads her back to an old life, forcing her to not only consider her future but also to confront her past, and the 'family' she once knew. The word that springs to mind when watching Black Widow  is 'cathartic'. This movie has been a long time coming, desired by both fans and filmmakers alike. After having appeared as a co-star in several solo outings, as well as being part of the team in all of the Avengers movies, both Johansson and Romanoff are more than deserving of a movie to call their own. A team of ice road truckers must drive the equipment to the mine along an ice road, and they have only thirty hours before the miners run out of air. But given that it's April, there's a chance that the ice may not be thick enough to hold the rigs and their cargo. Do you ever get the feeling that Liam Neeson enjoys working in really cold environments? The Grey , Cold Pursuit , and now The Ice Road . This would certainly suggest he isn't averse to the idea, anyway. Director Rupert Wyatt ( Rise of the Planet of the Apes / The Gambler ) delivers a different take on the alien invasion movie with Captive State , which couldn't be farther from the likes of Independence Day  and Battle Los Angeles . The cinemas are open again, which means the new films that we've been waiting a long time to see are finally starting to arrive. One of those is the latest Fast  movie, something I hadn't originally planned to see, but then I figured it's another movie to enjoy on the big screen. Justin Lin returns to the franchise that put him on the map, to helm yet another physics-defying action fest. This time the team face a challenge that hits all too close to home. All families have history, and Dom's is coming back to haunt him, giving us a glimpse at one of the major turning points in his life. One which explains why he holds his family so dear. But between all the new and returning characters, and the intertwining/rejigged plotlines that they bring with them, it's all starting to get a bit jumbled. The timeline is a mess. It doesn't help that the majority  of the new developments - most of which continue the pattern of trying to fix or alter what has gone before - go almost entirely unexplained. Simply put, they've tried to do too much, l
