Solo: A Star Wars Story | Synopsis Lands

We finally have a synopsis for the troubled Han Solo origin story: Board the Millenium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes.    There it is, but it doesn’t really tell us anything we didn’t already know. There’s no mention of any of the new characters - including a villain - or what Han and Chewie are going up against. For now, it seems the smuggler’s origins remain shrouded in mystery! Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi | Average Guy Movie Review

After destroying Starkiller Base, what's left of the Resistance is on the run, with a First Order fleet hot on their heels. In an attempt to aid their escape, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) sends Finn (John Boyega) and Resistance Mechanic Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) on a secret mission. Meanwhile on Ach-To, Rey (Daisy Ridley) attempts to convince Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) to show her the ways of the Force and to join the Resistance in the fight against the First Order. In what is a first for Star Wars (unless you count Rogue One), the story picks up immediately after the events of The Force Awakens. Rey finally gets to hand Luke his father's lightsaber - although she doesn't get quite the response she expects. It's here that Mark Hamill demonstrates his abilities as an actor, for Luke isn't the optimistic Jedi Knight we saw in Episode VI. Having endured a hard life along with the loss of his new Jedi Temple at the hands of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), he has become di

Rogue One: Average Guy Movie Review

For many, Christmas has come early with the arrival of 2016's most anticipated movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The events described in the opening crawl of A New Hope have been brought to life by British Director Gareth Edwards. Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) is recruited by the Rebel Alliance to find her father Galen (Mads Mikkelsen), the man responsible for designing the Death Star in an attempt to secure a copy of the plans for the super-weapon. Backing her up are a Rebel Intelligence Officer, Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and his reprogrammed Imperial Enforcement Droid, K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), as well as warriors Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen) and Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen) and former Imperial Pilot Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed). Ben Mendelsohn plays Orson Krennic, Director of Advanced Weapons Research, the Imperial Officer overseeing construction of the Death Star and the one trying to prevent the theft of the plans. For the first time ever, the word 'prequel' can be applied to a S

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Official Trailer 2

The final trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has landed (watch it below), and what an epic trailer it is! Last year Episode 7 made for a very Merry Christmas indeed and it looks like Disney will deliver the same with Rogue One this year. I'm not going to go on and on, I want you to watch the trailer. But Star Wars looks to be returning to the glory of its heyday, and what a story to do it with. After almost 40 years we will finally see how Princess Lea got hold of the Death Star plans. Clearly a lot of hard work and dedication have been put in to this project and I look forward to seeing the final result. If Rogue One is a success, will we get to see (and I'm paraphrasing here) many Bothans die to bring us the plans for Death Star 2? A little morbid I know but what the hell. Until then enjoy Rogue One's Trailer 2 and get excited for its release in December. Let us know what you think of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story by leaving a comment below or find us on

Moustache Trailer Reactions

Doctor Strange The teaser trailer for Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange has arrived, and what does it tell us? Not a lot really, it's more about intrigue and the scale and spectacle. I know a teaser trailer is only supposed to provide small pieces of information, I've said this myself enough times, but I think they took the word snippet and ran with it! Maybe the creators wanted the trailer to feel broken, just like Strange's hands, and Strange himself. Stephen Strange was a man who'd found purpose, something he was good at. As a surgeon he saved lives, but when a car accident badly damages his hands and robs him of his ability to perform surgery, he's lost. No doubt future trailers will help us put some of the pieces together, fans of the comics will have a pretty good idea of what's going on, although Marvel aren't afraid to change things when it comes to the MCU. Some might say the trailer is underwhelming, but I like the mysterious, broke

What's Up Moustache?

There's always some interesting information coming out of Hollywood, here's some that caught my eye. First, footage of Keanu Reeves training on a shooting range for John Wick 2. We see him engage multiple targets at varying distances, transitions from his primary weapon to his sidearm and a shotgun, all with speed and precision. A lot of work went in to the first movie and it showed, John Wick was very successful and very popular with movie goers. Now, those working on the sequel are going to have to work really hard considering how high they set the bar with the first movie. Unfortunatley we have to wait until February 2017 to see John Wick 2. Also out in February is Fifty Shades Darker, a watered down porno courtesy of a Twilight fan fiction writer, The Lego Batman Movie, a spin off of The Lego Movie and The Mountain Between Us starring Charlie Hunnam and Margot Robbie. If John Wick 2 lives up to its predecessor I don't think it will have any trouble with i
