The first teaser for 'Zack Snyder's Justice League' has landed. Not seen it yet? Check it out below: It's only a quick snippet of the new things to come, but it does have a small reveal. It seems that Diana Prince was doing some research into Darseid, and in the process discovered an ancient painting of the man himself. The clip has a slightly Indiana Jones feel to it, apart from Lex Luthor's ramblings about bells not being un-rung playing over the top. After that we're treated to a shot of the world conquering alien which looks suspiciously like one that featured Steppenwolf in the theatrical cut of Justice League. Other than that, there's not really much to say. Undoubtedly it's just an attempt to keep this interesting project current. It seems that a fairly common occurrence amongst movies tied to Warner Bros. is the magical disappearing/reappearing director. Does that mean there's hope for the Snyder Cut? I certainly hope so! Ever since Justice League hit cinemas in 2017 - possibly even before - fans have been calling for Zack Snyder's original vision to be released. Snyder famously faced issues regarding the darker tone and longer run times his movies were taking, especially after the negative response to 'Batman v Superman'. This of course led to rewrites of the superhero team-up movie, and certain plotlines established or teased in 'BvS' - including the epic Knightmare scene - being dropped. The director then left the production after the tragic death of his daughter. Joss Whedon was brought in by the studio to finish the movie, this included the completion of post production and some major reshoots, further altering the movie. After The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Henry Cavill will not be returning to the role of Superman, fans have been speculating about the future of the role and the DCEU, not to mention future roles that Cavill might take on. But it's possible this report may be more rumour than news. Since the story went viral we have had responses from both Warner Bros. and Cavill's representatives. According to The Hollywood Reporter Henry Cavill will no longer be playing the role of Superman. It is being said that contract talks - including a Shazam cameo - have broken down due to scheduling conflicts. With Warner Bros. looking to change things up with their comic book movie franchise, the DCEU or DC Extended Universe was recently rebranded as "Worlds of DC". Focus on the Kryptonian front is said to be shifting to a Supergirl origin story, said to feature a teenage version of the heroine. Which would rule Cavill out because - according to DC lore - that would make Superman a toddler.  Regardless of what you call it, in recent years DC has definitely played second fiddle to Marvel, when it comes to movies anyway. 2016 is a big year for DC and Warner Brothers, it's the year where they begin to roll out what's being called the "DC Extended Universe", DC's answer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU. But is there a problem with Batman v Superman? It's been three years since Man of Steel hit cinemas, compared to Marvel who get movies out every year and plan to every year up to 2019 this is slow. Granted where Marvel made several origin stories first and then brought the Avengers together DC are using   Batman v Superman to unite the Justice League and open up the DCEU. Now, everything I've seen so far suggests that Batman v Superman is going to be a great movie, hopefully the first of many. However, since its announcement there have been a few issues. First there was the negative reaction to Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, something I covered in a previous post. The second trailer didn't go down well with fans either, many believed it gave away too muc

These are words I never expected to hear, especially after seeing both the Theatrical and Director's cut of Daredevil. But to be fair that was 2003!
