Dark Phoenix | Moustache Trailer Reaction

The second trailer for Dark Phoenix - the latest movie in the X-Men franchise, and the last under 20th Century Fox - has landed. And if you're keen to avoid spoilers, stop reading now! More importantly, don't watch the trailer because the spoiler contained within is massive. As both a movie fan and a blogger, I usually enjoy watching trailers. I like to get an idea of what I'm in for, but despite how awesome Dark Phoenix looks because of this trailer, I genuinely regret watching it, and it's all thanks to the aforementioned spoiler. It's 1992, after the events of Apocalypse the X-Men are heroes. During a rescue mission in space the team are hit by what the director Simon Kinberg describes as a "cosmic force", causing Jean (Sophie Turner) to lose control of her powers, unleashing the Phoenix. This chain of events will tear the team apart over how to stop both Jean and the Phoenix. Could this be the end for the X-Men? Well the answer to that f

Disney CEO Announces New Live Action Star Wars Show

Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger has announced a new live action Star Wars series for the upcoming Disney Streaming service; Disney+. The show - which will go into production next year - will focus on Rebel Intelligence Officer Cassian Andor and his missions for the Rebel Alliance before the events of Rogue One. Now here's the really good news...Diego Luna will be returning to the role. Luna told StarWars.com: Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me. I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey.   adding We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.   The only question that remains is; will K-2SO be joining Andor on his adventures? The Imperial Enforcement droid was captured by Andor and reprogrammed to serve the rebellion. He was played in Rogue One by Alan Tudyk (Dodgeball, I, Robot, Firefly). I person

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Filming Pushed to 2021

According to Production Weekly ( @prodweek ), filming of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (under the working title "Hot Christmas") has been pushed to 2021. Which means we likely won't see a release until 2022. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise given the recent controversy that resulted in James Gunn being fired by Disney. Now they need time to find a replacement director. Taika Waititi is said to be one of the frontrunners, which would make sense after his work on Thor: Raganarok. I think Waititi's crazy style would fit well with a Guardians movie. But will this delay have other repercussions for the Guardians? Dave Bautista - who was very vocal about wanting Gunn reinstated - has said he's not sure if he will return for a third Guardians movie. The good news however, according to Gunn's brother Sean (Kraglin in GOTG Vol. 1&2) the script Gunn wrote is still being used. In a tweet James Gunn described the Vol. 3 script as "

Christopher Robin | Average Guy Movie Review

When a young Christopher Robin is sent off to boarding school, education followed by war and the complexities of real life soon come between him and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. Now an efficiency manager for a luggage company, Christopher's work has him spending less and less time with his family, to the point where he has forgotten what is really important in life. But could a chance encounter with his old friend Winnie-the-Pooh be just the thing to set him straight. Despite being called Christopher Robin, it's unsurprisingly his little friends that steal the show. Anyone familiar with the Hundred Acre Wood will once again find these loveable characters tugging on their heart strings. The moment you hear that "silly old bear" speak, you will instantly be transported back to your childhood. Not to mention laughing out loud at all the funny - yet familiar - things he has to say. Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga and Roo have all been beautifu

Solo: A Star Wars Story | Synopsis Lands

We finally have a synopsis for the troubled Han Solo origin story: Board the Millenium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes.    There it is, but it doesn’t really tell us anything we didn’t already know. There’s no mention of any of the new characters - including a villain - or what Han and Chewie are going up against. For now, it seems the smuggler’s origins remain shrouded in mystery! Finding Dory: Average Guy Movie Review

It seems that Pixar are looking to reclaim their title as the definitive name in 3D animation movies and with Finding Dory they might just do it. Thirteen years after Finding Nemo took the box office by storm and became one of Pixar's best loved movies, we return to the ocean with Finding Dory. Set a year after the first movie, Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) is living with Marlin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo (Hayden Rolence), in fact Marlin has essentially adopted her. Dory is still struggling with her memory but has random flashes of her past. When she remembers something about her parents the three of them set off on another fun filled journey across the ocean to find out where Dory came from. Along the way they meet old friends and make some new ones including Hank (Ed O'Neill), a seven tentacled octopus who just wants to be left alone, Destiny (Kaitlin Olson) a near sighted whale shark, Bailey (Ty Burrell) a supposedly echolocation challenged Beluga Whale and sea lions
