GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE | Moustache Teaser Reaction

If I didn't know any better I'd say Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan have been working on a sequel to The Day After Tomorrow . Thankfully however, it's a follow up to their 2021 hit Ghostbusters: Afterlife . One that sees the OG Ghostbusters back in New York, along with the Spengler family and the rest of the new team, where they are once again called upon to save the world. If you haven't seen it or you simply want to watch it again, check out the teaser for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire  below. Naturally this little glimpse is only supposed to whet our collective appetite, but Frozen Empire  already looks fantastic!  Once again Reitman and Kenan appear to have nailed that perfect blend of creepy and fun that Ivan Reitman and co. coined with the first two movies.  It's good to see that all of the Ghostbusters will be facing - what appears to be - an  entirely new threat. I'm pretty certain that Ray, Pete, Winston and Egon never faced off against anything quite so tall

Eternals | Average Guy Movie Review

For 7000 years a group of immortal beings known as 'Eternals' have lived among us in secret. Sent here by the Celestial Arishem, they have been charged with protecting the human race from monsters known as the 'Deviants'. And while they are encouraged to aid in our development, the Eternals are not allowed to interfere in any conflict that does not involve these Deviants. Our secret protectors have seen us at our best and absolute worst, and in their time here, some of them have become disillusioned with their role. But with the Deviant threat re-emerging, it's time to get the band back together. As Marvel Studios moves into Phase 4 of its cinematic universe, the powers that be are looking to change things up a little, and  Eternals  is a big part of that plan. Chloé Zhao's first entry into the MCU marks a bold new direction for the franchise. The Oscar-winning filmmaker and her team have drawn inspiration from the work of Eternals creator Jack Kirby in order to

Marvel Studios’ Eternals | Moustache Teaser Reaction

The first trailer for Marvel Studios' The Eternals  has landed, and while it doesn't give all that much away, it does promise something a little different to what has gone before it. If you haven't seen the trailer or just want to watch it again, you can check it out below. This trailer leaves me more curious than excited, which in a way feels the wrong way round. Normally I'm just excited to see where the latest Marvel adventure is taking us. It is nice, however, to see an upcoming instalment of the MCU on the horizon that I know next to nothing about.  There really isn't much here to work with. The trailer establishes that these long-living, superpowered beings exist. They have been living on Earth for quite a while - having arrived on a ship that looks like a giant, flying slab of granite - and have influenced but not interfered with humanity in order to see us develop. Oh, and they're not so hidden as to be unaware of what's going on in the world/galaxy.

Men In Black: International | Average Guy Movie Review

After a close encounter during her childhood, Molly Wright (Tessa Thompson) begins searching for the mysterious agency that polices alien life on Earth. Twenty years later, when she finally manages to track them down, she's able to avoid the wrong end of a neuralyser, bartering instead for employment. For her first assignment, O (Emma Thompson) sends her to the London branch, where she will be working with Agents H (Chris Hemsworth) and High T (Liam Neeson) to uncover a mole in the MIB - a first for the agency. But will they be able to find them in time to stop an invasion of Earth by a hostile alien race? After the popularity of Thor: Ragnarok and the genius pairing of Hemsworth and Thompson, many fans - including myself - were excited to see the pair reunite for a reboot/sequel to the Men In Black franchise. They may be playing vastly different characters to those seen in Ragnarok - a rogue who skates by more on luck than skill, and a logic driven/obsessed geek - but that

MEN IN BLACK: INTERNATIONAL | Moustache Trailer Reaction

The first trailer for Men in Black International has been released, and we decided to share our thoughts. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, you can check it out below. First things first, that is an impressive cast! Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson (that "Johnson and Johnson" joke from Die Hard comes to mind), Kumail Nanjiani, Rebecca Ferguson, and those are just the ones we've seen so far. Knowing this franchise we can at least expect a few interesting cameos. It was good to see Emma Thompson return after her appearance in MIB 3. Hopefully she'll get a bigger role this time. We know Hemsworth can do funny after his performances is Ghostbusters (2016) - he was arguably the best thing about it - and Thor Ragnarok. In fact, he looks very comfortable in his new role as Agent H - maybe a little too comfortable at one point. He and Tessa Thompson worked really well together in Ragnarok, and it looks like the magic will c
