JOJO RABBIT | Moustache Trailer Reaction

The new trailer for Jojo Rabbit is here, and it still looks like the maddest movie we've seen in a long time! If you haven't seen the trailer yet, check it out below: Lets face it, you see a child charging through the woods with a grenade whilst a rather eccentric looking man - with a funny moustache - frolics along beside him, all to the sound of Smash Mouth's "I'm a Believer" (in German of course), you know you're about to watch something special. Although the shot of the kid throwing his knife at a tree only for it to bounce back into his friend's leg is still one of the funniest things I've seen in film. But with this new trailer we're starting to see the more serious side to Taika Waititi's anti-hate satire (based on the book "Caging Skies" by Christine Leunens). Jojo (Roman Griffin Davis) is just a lonely kid, one who desperately wants to belong, and in order to do so has bought into Nazism. But his

JOJO RABBIT | Moustache Teaser Reaction

If Top Gun: Maverick is the most exciting teaser of late, then the teaser trailer for "Jojo Rabbit" has got to be the most bizarre. If you haven't seen it, check it out below: Taika Waititi's latest movie is based on the book "Caging Skies" by Christine Leunens, and tells the story of Jojo "Rabbit" Betzler (Roman Griffin Davis). A member of the Hitler Youth, Jojo's world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic. And the only person he has to turn to as he attempts to deal with all that he's going through, is his imaginary friend...Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi). Now I know what you're thinking; "this sounds bat shit insane!" And to be fair, you're probably right. But Jojo Rabbit looks - in true Waititi fashion - absolutely hysterical. It is definitely something you have to see to believe, and that's just the trail

The Girl in the Spider's Web | Average Guy Movie Review

Lisbeth Salander (Claire Foy) - the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - is hired to acquire something from a certain government agency. But in doing so, she draws the attention of government agents from multiple countries and someone from her past, someone dangerous. And in order to put things right and clear her name, Lisbeth will have to face one of the darkest parts of her troubled past. Fede Alvarez takes control of the US variant of the Millennium series in this soft reboot/sequel to David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. But where the first movie was a more than fucked up murder mystery, this is more a Bond/Bourne-esque espionage thriller. Alvarez does well stepping into Fincher's shoes, no doubt an unenviable task for many. He has put together a tense and engaging thriller. Despite adhering to the well-used storyline in which the main character begins to think/worry about someone just before they reappear to fuck up the main character's life, the movie do

Logan: Average Guy Movie Review

Over the last 17 years, Hugh Jackman has portrayed Logan in nine different movies. It's fair to say that some of the movies didn't impress, however Jackman has always done a brilliant job of bringing the character to life. It seems both poetic and punishing that Wolverine's last ride should also be his best. But it's better to see him go out with a bang rather than watch him try to cling to past glory. Logan is less of a comicbook movie and more a character driven action/adventure/drama. Set in the year 2029, almost all mutants are gone and Logan's healing abilities are diminishing, leaving him in constant pain. With the help of Caliban (Stephen Merchant) - a mutant who can sense other mutants - Logan is caring for an ailing Professor Xavier. The Professor is suffering from a degenerative brain disorder which causes him to have powerful seizures that can be devastating to those around him. The appearance of a woman and her mysterious daughter will force Log
