Captain Marvel | Average Guy Movie Review

During a mission for Starforce, Kree warrior 'Vers' (Brie Larson) tracks a group of Skrulls - lead by Talos (Ben Medelsohn) - to Earth circa 1995. There she discovers that they are searching for a hidden device, one that could tip the balance of the war between these two races in the Skrulls' favour. But does 'Vers' have more of a connection to this planet than she first realised? The only person willing to help her find out is a young Agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) of S.H.I.E.L.D. Directing team Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck deliver an origin story for what is considered to be the most powerful hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Carol Danvers - A.K.A. 'Vers', A.K.A. Captain Marvel | Jude Law's Character Confirmed

Spoiler Alert It has finally been confirmed who Jude Law will be playing in the upcoming Captain Marvel. Many have speculated, and it seems their speculation was correct. According to the official Captain Marvel page on the Disney website Law will be playing Mar-Vell, leader of the Starforce. Which makes him Captain Marvel's (AKA Carol Danvers) boss. The question is; how will it affect their relationship when Danvers (played by Brie Larson) returns to Earth? First hinted at during Avengers: Infinity War's end credits scene, we know Nick Fury has a good relationship with Captain Marvel. Now we get to see how that relationship came about. It seems that during the 1990's, the Earth was caught in the middle of an inter-galactic war between the Kree and Skrulls. When an event causes her to crash into a Blockbuster Video Store (the youngsters among us may not know what that is), Captain Marvel chooses to defend her planet of origin. But will that choice set her at

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald | Average Guy Movie Review

When Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) escapes from prison, a world-wide manhunt begins to re-capture him. But what is he planning? And how does Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) fit in? In order to find out, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) asks Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to head to Paris. David Yates delivers another fun instalment in J. K. Rowling's Wizarding World, and there's a hell of a lot going on! Firstly we've got some catching up to do with some returning characters, as well as meeting some new (and newish) ones. The Crimes of Grindelwald does do a good job of opening up the pre-Potter Wizarding World. Newt has some interesting new magical creatures to take care of, not to mention the creature that's had babies since the first movie. But as the title would suggest, this one is mainly about the big bad of the story. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them merely introduced the evil wizard. So this time around we're getting to know the bad guy, a
