What's Up, Moustache? #5 | Another Friggin' Christmas!

Here we go again! The jolliest of holidays, the most festive of festivities, is back to haunt us. Yep, it's Christmas. Which means it's time to do all that stuff we love to do around the holidays. Putting up trees and decorations. Wrapping presents. Oh, and my personal favourite... enduring the same shitty Christmas music over and over. Although I am loving all the Mariah Carey memes, this year. But on a more serious note; there are radio stations dedicated to Christmas music, and some of them have been live since September! Who the hell is listening to Christmas music in September?! However, it's not all bad. There's usually copious amounts of delicious food to consume, and some excellent movies to be watched. Often times, you can combine the two. How many Christmases have been saved by a good movie and/or some tasty food? I don't know if it has saved Christmas 2025, but before writing this I watched Planes, Trains & Automobiles . Not exactly a Christmas film, ...

Vote for Die Hard: The ULTIMATE Christmas Movie

'Tis the season to be jolly, which means lots of tinsel, wrapping paper, empty bank accounts and the same damn Christmas music playing over and over. But it also means we have the perfect excuse to watch Die Hard - the ULTIMATE Christmas movie - as many times as we want. It's my pick for Best Christmas Movie in the latest LAMBracket from The Large Association of Movie Blogs, and I need your help. You can vote for it over at the LAMB's website , or on Facebook , Instagram and Twitter . Now many of you are probably thinking; Die Hard? That's not a Christmas movie! Well respectfully, you're wrong. I don't think Die Hard could get any more Christmassy. For one thing, it's on TV every December. The story takes place during a party on Christmas Eve. There's plenty of decorations, trees and music, not to mention the most inventive use of Christmas tape the world has ever seen. Our hero even sends his enemies a heart-warming Christmas message, ...

Die Hard: THE Christmas Movie

For most people, 'tis the season to be jolly. For me it's a time to watch one of my favourite Christmas movies, the greatest Christmas movie of all... Die Hard . When terrorists led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) seize control of Nakatomi Plaza taking thirty people hostage, the last thing they expect to find is John McClane (Bruce Willis). McClane, a New York Police Detective is in town to spend Christmas with his estranged wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia). With the building locked down by the heavily armed terrorists, McClane is the only one who can save the hostages. I know I don't need to talk about Die Hard , it's a classic. Not only is Die Hard my favourite Christmas movie, it's probably my favourite movie in general. And before the naysayers start complaining that Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie, here's proof that it is: The story takes place during a Christmas party on Christmas Eve There's Christmas music McClane uses Christmas tape ...

London has Fallen: Average Guy Movie Review

Or Fallen 2: Fall Harder if you want to use its Die Hard Name. Gerard Butler returns as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning, protecting President Asher (Aaron Eckhart) during a visit to London for a State Funeral. When terrorists attack all of the attending world leaders Banning and Asher have no choice but to go on the run in order to stay alive. Also returning are Morgan Freeman as now Vice President Alan Trumbull, Angela Bassett as Secret Service Director Lynne Jacobs, Melissa Leo as Secretary of Defense (American spelling) Ruth McMillan, Robert Forster as General Clegg, Sean O'Bryan as NSA Deputy Director Ray Monroe and Radha Mitchell as Leah Banning. The band is back together It's a cliche ridden, one liner fest but it's still an entertaining action movie. I've said it before, but if you watch it expecting an Oscar winner you'll be disappointed, but if you accept it's an action movie that'll make your inner child go bananas you'll enjoy ...
