This time he's looking at the Vietnam war and its undying legacy, once again proving that not much has changed in the supposed "land of the free". In depicting events, Lee draws inspiration from some classic Vietnam war movies - shooting in some beautiful locations - and despite going a little over the top on the Apocalypse Now references, it does give the movie a level of authenticity. '21 Bridges' is a fast-paced and highly kinetic action movie, in which a group of cops literally whizz around Manhattan searching for a pair of cop killers. As Sergeant Nicholas Angel from 'Hot Fuzz' would say: " I wouldn't argue that it wasn't a no-holds-barred, adrenaline fuelled thrill ride. But there is no way you can perpetuate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork." In fact, that's a perfect way to describe the events in this movie. After an explosive entry into the MCU in Captain America: Civil War last year, things are looking good for T'Challa's first solo outing. Directed by Creed's Ryan Coogler, the movie follows the events of Civil War. T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to Wakanda as king, but his reign is soon challenged by Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger, a Wakandan exile. Also involved - somehow - is Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis), a smuggler interested in Wakanda's vast resources. In order to combat this threat, T'Challa will team up with CIA agent - and head of the Joint Counter Terrorism Center - Everett K.
