Spider-Man: No Way Home | Average Guy Movie Review

After Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal) posthumously revealed to the world that he's Spider-Man, Peter Parker (Tom Holland)'s life, and the lives of those around him immediately began to fall apart. In an attempt to put the genie back in the bottle Pete turns to the only person he can... Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). But things rarely work out for the Web-Head, the way he plans. Now he and the good doctor must deal with the multiverse trying to tear itself apart, not to mention the new friends it has brought them. Tom Holland's third solo outing as the MCU's Wall-Crawler is his biggest so far, and yet in some ways it still feels like an adventure with our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. He may be dealing with bigger and bigger threats, but you can still see him taking the time to help the little people (like the lady who bought him a churro), and a lot of that is thanks to Holland.  Whereas with previous versions of Peter Parker it has been a quick transition

Spider-Man: No Way Home | Moustache Trailer Reaction

We have another trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home , and it's full of surprises. But not necessarily the surprises many fans were expecting. If you've not seen the trailer, or you just want to see it again, check it out below. It seems like only five minutes ago that we were getting excited over the teaser trailer for Tom Holland's upcoming third solo outing as the MCU's Web-Head. Probably because it was. That teaser came with many revelations about Peter Parker's life - and that of those close to him - after Mysterio posthumously revealed the teenager's alter ego. No Way Home  certainly looks to be Holland's biggest and most dangerous solo outing, as Peter Parker faces one hell of a challenge - six or seven of them, in fact. Whereas the teaser revealed how all this came to be, this one focuses more on the consequences of that rather dangerous spell. Much like in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse , it seems Pete's proximity to the cause of this meeting

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME | Moustache Teaser Reaction

The Spider-Man: No Way Home  trailer has finally arrived, and it sure does look good when it's not footage of a phone filming a phone, filmed on a phone! Granted, there's no real difference between this and the leaked version - bar some improved visual effects, and you can actually see what's going on - but it's still good to finally get a look at what is to come. If you haven't seen it, or you just want to watch it again, check out the trailer below... So after that shock ending to Spider-Man: Far From Home  it seems that Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is struggling with his new found fame - or should that be infamy? Not only does the entire world know he's Spider-Man, but he appears to be in the frame for murdering Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) too. That would certainly explain why he needs a certain lawyer to help him. But the Web-Head is also considering more drastic options, courtesy of his old friend (and world saving colleague) Dr Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch),

Spider-Man: Far From Home | Average Guy Movie Review

Eight months after "the snap" was undone, life has returned to a relative degree of normality. Some people are five years older and some are not, a nightmare for most, but more so for teenagers. After all that has gone on, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) wants a break from his duties as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, so he's heading off for a vacation in Europe with his friends. But Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has other plans for the Web Head. It seems Fury and his team are having trouble with some monsters of the elemental variety, and the warrior hunting them might need some help. Will Peter get to spend some time with MJ (Zendaya), or will the "Night Monkey" come between them? The gang is all back - in more ways than one - and director Jon Watts is leading them on another great adventure. Marvel appears to have learnt a lot from Spidey's previous solo outing in the MCU. Homecoming suffered from bad trailers spoiling far too much, includi

Captain Britain and Deadpool in the MCU

Who - and I'm talking to the British readers here - would like to see a British Marvel superhero enter the MCU? Granted there have already been two British characters of note in Marvel movies, but Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is very much retired, and James Montgomery Falsworth (JJ Feild) hasn't been seen since the end of World War 2. Maybe it's time for a British superhero. We Got This Covered is reporting that a source has confirmed Marvel plans to introduce Captain Britain into the MCU at some point during Phase 4.  Brian Braddock was a scientist working at the Darkmoor nuclear research centre. During an attack on the facility, Braddock went for help but crashed his motorcycle. Badly injured, Braddock was visited by the Omniversal Guardian who gave him the choice to become a superhero. By making the right choice, Braddock became Captain Britain and is gifted with several powers including superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, reflexes, senses and sup

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME | Another Moustache Trailer Reaction

With Endgame taking the world by storm, we're now in a better place to appreciate the aftermath of what has happened. First up, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Needless to say there will be many spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so if you haven't seen it stop reading now. If you have seen it, but haven't seen the new Far From Home Trailer - or you just want to watch it again - check it out below. *Spoiler Warning* We join Peter Parker (Tom Holland) at a low point in Far From Home. The poor kid has suffered a lot in his life, having lost his parents and his Uncle Ben, now he has the loss of his friend and mentor to deal with as well. It makes sense that the superhero life would be getting a bit much for him, and that he just wants to take a break, be a kid for a while. Obviously this being a superhero movie, that's not going to happen, no matter how many times he ignores Nick Fury's (Samuel L. Jackson) calls. Holland has demonstrated some real talent in

Spider-Man: Far From Home | Moustache Trailer Reaction

Well it has finally arrived, and the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home does not disappoint. Here's what we thought. Needless to say the trailer does contain some spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so read on at your own peril... Not seen the trailer yet? Check it out below: First of all, this is a great trailer, lots of intriguing snippets and no real spoilers - apart from the aforementioned Endgame spoilers anyway. Jon Watts returns as director, continuing to develop the story and characters first seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Peter (Tom Holland) is still working as the friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler, something Aunt May (Marissa Tomei) is aware of. With the help of Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), they are using Pete's alter ego to do some charity work. There might even be some sparks flying between Happy and May. With a school trip to Europe on the cards, the teenage Avenger is looking forward to just being a teenager for a while, even electin

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse | Average Guy Movie Review

Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) is a typical teenager, struggling to fit in whilst also trying to find his place in the world. His struggles only worsen when he's bitten by a genetically engineered spider, gifting him with the same abilities as Spider-Man. Abilities he must learn to control. Luckily for Miles, a cross-dimensional event has brought several other Spider-People to his dimension, who better to teach him what it means to be Spider-Man? But will he master it all before his new found friends are forced to return home? Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is proof that Sony can do a Spider-Man movie, and do it well, if they get the right people. Oh, and if they leave said people alone to do the work. This is a spectacular movie on every level. Thanks to some beautiful animation - a combination of comic book and anime styles - this new version of the Marvel universe looks fantastic. Not only that, the voice cast do an impeccable job of bringing it to life. And at the cen
