Zack Snyder’s Justice League | Moustache Teaser Reaction

The first teaser for 'Zack Snyder's Justice League' has landed. Not seen it yet? Check it out below: It's only a quick snippet of the new things to come, but it does have a small reveal. It seems that Diana Prince was doing some research into Darseid, and in the process discovered an ancient painting of the man himself. The clip has a slightly Indiana Jones feel to it, apart from Lex Luthor's ramblings about bells not being un-rung playing over the top. After that we're treated to a shot of the world conquering alien which looks suspiciously like one that featured Steppenwolf in the theatrical cut of Justice League. Other than that, there's not really much to say. Undoubtedly it's just an attempt to keep this interesting project current. But it's good to see that this much whispered about character might actually make an appearance, when we finally get to see Zack Snyder's vision for the Justice League sometime next year. What did you think of th

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Average Guy Movie Review

After three years of waiting, it has finally arrived. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, possibly one of the most talked about, debated movies of recent years. But was it worth the wait? So far the critics have not been positive about this movie, in fact as I write this the rating on Rotten Tomatoes stands at 28%. However, the audience score is currently 72%, quite a difference of opinion! As the title of this post might suggest I'm not a movie critic, I'm just an average guy who loves movies, and yes I loved this movie. There's only one small part I didn't like, I'm not going to reveal it because I'm not in the habit of spoiling movies. I think it might be explained in the upcoming Justice League movies but right now, without context it's weird. I've heard Batman v Superman is too long, there's too much going on, too many characters, you need to see it twice. Dan Murrell of Screen Junkies described it as five movies in one: a sequel to

Is the DC Extended Universe in trouble? Probably not!

2016 is a big year for DC and Warner Brothers, it's the year where they begin to roll out what's being called the "DC Extended Universe", DC's answer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU. But is there a problem with Batman v Superman? It's been three years since Man of Steel hit cinemas, compared to Marvel who get movies out every year and plan to every year up to 2019 this is slow. Granted where Marvel made several origin stories first and then brought the Avengers together DC are using   Batman v Superman to unite the Justice League and open up the DCEU. Now, everything I've seen so far suggests that Batman v Superman is going to be a great movie, hopefully the first of many. However, since its announcement there have been a few issues. First there was the negative reaction to Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, something I covered in a previous post. The second trailer didn't go down well with fans either, many believed it gave away too muc

Ben Affleck as Batman?

These are words I never expected to hear, especially after seeing both the Theatrical and Director's cut of Daredevil. But to be fair that was 2003! In 13 years Affleck has gone from being disliked to well respected and if you look at his work it's easy to see why!   Images courtesy of Google Images Argo, Gone Girl, Gone Baby Gone, The Town. Three films he starred in, three films he directed, two of which he did both and they are all brilliant. We're not talking one dimmensional Michael Bay films either! All of these films have excellent stories and interesting characters. If he can deliver great performances as both an actor and director why did we have such a negative initial reaction to his casting as the Dark Knight? Now I know what you're thinking! None of the movies I've mentioned involve superheroes and when Affleck did play a superhero it was so bad the character wasn't seen on screen for 12 years. But lets be fair, Daredevil was
