Devotion | Average Guy Movie Review

The story of the US Navy's first African-American aviator, Jesse Brown (Jonathan Majors), and his wingman Tom Hudner (Glen Powell). From their training in the years after World War 2 for the much anticipated war with the Soviet Union. To combat operations during the Korean War. At first glance, and with the proximity of their releases - as well as other obvious connections - it's almost impossible to not make comparisons between Devotion  and Top Gun: Maverick . However, in reality this is like comparing Sense and Sensibility with Shaun of the Dead . Granted,  Top Gun: Maverick  is a movie about (or at least revolving around) Naval Aviators. But it's really about the flying, looking cool while doing it, and of course... never leaving your wingman. That is one way in which these two movies do connect. Because Devotion  - a title that may seem like an odd choice, but isn't - is more about the men than the flying. Which is under-stating it slightly. More accurately, it

‘The Newsroom’ isn’t Returning...But It Should Be!

Olivia Munn has apparently spoken to Aaron Sorkin about a return to the small screen for ‘The Newsroom’. Munn, who played finance expert (putting it lightly) Sloan Sabbith on the show recently told Entertainment Tonight: “Tom Sadoski and myself, we’ve actually been having conversations with Sorkin about that.” Adding: “He’s very busy, but we have very high hopes that it would be able to come together, hopefully.” Before beginning her career as an actor, Munn earned a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Japanese from the University of Oklahoma. “As somebody who went to journalism school and has such love for journalists and media, it was to me that show was always a love letter to journalists, showing the struggles of what they go through to really tell the stories they want to tell.” Aaron Sorkin has since confirmed that he doesn’t intend to reboot the show, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good idea. ‘The Newsroom’ ran for three seasons between 2012 and 2014. John Wick: Chapter 2: Average Guy Movie Review

The man that is sheer will is back, and he doesn't disappoint! In John Wick, the titular assassin opened a doorway into the underworld he left behind, in order to seek revenge on the people who killed his dog and stole his car. Now a demon from his past - someone to whom he's bound by a blood oath - has come through the doorway and dragged John back into his old life. The demon is Santino D'Antonio, an Italian crime lord who helped John with the impossible task that allowed him to escape the life. In order to fulfil the oath, John must complete a task for Santino, something Santino can't or won't do himself. The problem with sequels is more often than not, it follows exactly the same pattern as the first movie, only with different characters. The Hangover Part 2, Ghostbusters 2, Jaws 2 are all guilty of this. John Wick: Chapter 2 doesn't make this mistake. It doesn't necessarily bring anything new to the table, but it does delve deeper into the
