One of the first shows to be brought to life by Amazon Prime was Bosch. Detective Hieronymus 'Harry' Bosch was created by author Michael Connelly and played by Titus Welliver on the show. IMDb interviewed Welliver this week, using Twitter to allow fans to ask their questions. He joined the Los Angeles Police Department after leaving the Army and after making Detective spent several years in Robbery Homicide. In 1952, the SS Pendleton split in half whilst caught in a storm off the Massachusetts coast. The Bow section capsized killing eight men, including the Captain. The Stern section staid afloat with thritythree men aboard. The Coast Guard sent a small boat with a crew of four to rescue the survivors. This story is known as the greatest rescue in the history of the United States Coast Guard. Directed by Craig Gillespie, this is a very impressive movie both in terms of the story and the production. Firstly, what those men faced and what they did for a group of strangers is incredible. The fact that they found the ship in that storm is amazing, even more so because they were able to rescue so many! A lot of work has been put in to making The Finest Hours look as real as possible. This week the first trailer for Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot arrived and reactions have been mixed.  Granted this is only the first trailer and the movie's release date isn't until July which leaves plenty of time to release more trailers but it's not a great start. We already know that this movie is a reboot not a sequel yet the trailer begins by reminding us what happened in the first movie. In fact there are several references to the original throughout the trailer. It's a nice tribute to a classic but confusing for those viewing the trailer who know nothing about the movie. For fans of the original it might be annoying to find out it's not a sequel after being led to believe it is. Now the first trailer is supposed to be a teaser! You're meant to see little snippets of the movie which will generate interest in the movie. Anyone who has seen Shawn Ryan's The Shield will have an idea of what to expect with Triple 9. Cops who do their job but are also out to take care of themselves. If you're looking for a nice movie, don't bother with this, it's a gritty view of crime, police work and life in Atlanta, but if you want an interesting movie grounded in reality with great characters you should definitely watch Triple 9. The plot revolves around a heist crew made up of two ex-special forces operators  (Ejiofor and Reedus) , two cops (Mackie and Collins Jr) and an ex-cop (Paul) who work for the head of the Russian mob (Winslet). They are forced to take on a high risk job and in order to delay and diminish any Police response, plan to murder a cop (radio code for such an incident is 999 - urgent assistance), the cop they pick is Mackie's partner played by Casey Affleck. After ten years and four movies Daniel Craig is apparently done with 007. What will this mean for the franchise? Are we going to get another reboot or will the next actor pick up where Craig left off? I never thought I'd say this because I have been a fan of Bond for as long as I can remember, but if Craig doesn't return I think they should put the super spy to bed, at least for a few years. Skyfall would have made a much better exit for Craig but that's the wonder of 20-20 hindsight.
