Marvel Studios’ Eternals | Moustache Teaser Reaction

The first trailer for Marvel Studios' The Eternals  has landed, and while it doesn't give all that much away, it does promise something a little different to what has gone before it. If you haven't seen the trailer or just want to watch it again, you can check it out below. This trailer leaves me more curious than excited, which in a way feels the wrong way round. Normally I'm just excited to see where the latest Marvel adventure is taking us. It is nice, however, to see an upcoming instalment of the MCU on the horizon that I know next to nothing about.  There really isn't much here to work with. The trailer establishes that these long-living, superpowered beings exist. They have been living on Earth for quite a while - having arrived on a ship that looks like a giant, flying slab of granite - and have influenced but not interfered with humanity in order to see us develop. Oh, and they're not so hidden as to be unaware of what's going on in the world/galaxy.

Shang-Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings | Moustache Trailer Reaction

So the first trailer for Shang-Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings is here - appropriately dropped on Simu Liu's birthday - and as you'd expect with Marvel, it promises to be another exciting instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. More importantly, it opens up an entirely new culture to this superhero universe, presenting audiences with the MCU's first Asian protagonist. You can check out the trailer below. In terms of plot it looks like Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) walked away from his life and his family over a feud with his father, Wenwu (Tony Chu-Wai Leung) A.K.A. The Mandarin. Now, ten years later, Shang-Chi finds himself being drawn back into that life he has tried to forget, as a series of killers begin hunting him down. But was he ever really out of it? Was his father simply watching from afar, waiting for the right moment to draw his son back into the fold? Firstly, it's worth noting that unlike in previous MCU entries, we're not talking about an imposter, th

Jimmy Woo Spin-Off? Yes Please!

I think it's fair to say - even though we're only half way through the season - that WandaVision has been a rather successful endeavour for Marvel Studios. The team behind the show have certainly set the bar high for those working on the other upcoming Marvel TV shows, maybe even the movies too. But one of the more surprising outcomes of WandaVision is the possibility of Randall Park's FBI Agent Jimmy Woo getting his own show. Stephen Ford (Teen Wolf, Private Practice) has expressed interest in creating a spin-off show for the FBI agent, described as "Like a fun X-Files". Given the character's comic book history, and Randall Park's quirky performance, the possibilities for a show like this are endless. Which is probably why the idea quickly grew in popularity, so much so in fact, Ford is apparently writing a pitch for his idea. Ford first shared his idea on social media on 30th January: Hear me out: An entire Disney+ show about Jimmy Woo just working weir

Moustache Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide Part 13 | WandaVision

Finally the roll out of Phase 4 of the MCU has begun, but not as originally planned. The first to arrive is one of Marvel's new streaming shows - and not the one they planned to debut first. The first two episodes of WandaVision are here, it's the first major Marvel property to be released since Spider-Man: Far From Home back in 2019, and the mysterious show is putting a strange new spin on the Marvel Universe. The MCU is back! Don't forget to check out the rest of our Moustache Lockdown Streaming Survival Guide by clicking here . After the events of Avengers: Endgame, it is unknown what has happened to Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). Now we see her living with Vision (Paul Bettany) as a married couple in the suburbs. The only problem is their new life together seems to be a TV show, one resembling classic American sitcoms. And someone is watching. But will they be able to figure out what's going on before it's too late, and more importantly... will they want to

Dates for Phase 5 of the MCU may have been Leaked

After unveiling Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Comic Con last month, it's believed that plans for Phase 5 will be announced at D23. But have some of the release dates may have already been leaked? A pretty good line up! Charles Murphy ( @_CharlesMurphy ) - someone who is known for revealing accurate info - has tweeted possible release dates for two upcoming movies. According to Murphy (which "could be subject to change"), Black Panther 2 will arrive in cinemas on 18th February 2022, and will be followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on 6th May 2022. These dates are similar to the movies that preceded them, Black Panther was released on 13th February 2018 and GOTG Vol. 2 on 27th April 2017. Both movies had a lot of success in their respective slots, so it makes sense that Marvel would attempt to continue that success with future instalments. It has also been confirmed by James Gunn, that he won't be working on GOTG Vol. 3 until after he'

Captain Britain and Deadpool in the MCU

Who - and I'm talking to the British readers here - would like to see a British Marvel superhero enter the MCU? Granted there have already been two British characters of note in Marvel movies, but Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is very much retired, and James Montgomery Falsworth (JJ Feild) hasn't been seen since the end of World War 2. Maybe it's time for a British superhero. We Got This Covered is reporting that a source has confirmed Marvel plans to introduce Captain Britain into the MCU at some point during Phase 4.  Brian Braddock was a scientist working at the Darkmoor nuclear research centre. During an attack on the facility, Braddock went for help but crashed his motorcycle. Badly injured, Braddock was visited by the Omniversal Guardian who gave him the choice to become a superhero. By making the right choice, Braddock became Captain Britain and is gifted with several powers including superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, reflexes, senses and sup

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME | Another Moustache Trailer Reaction

With Endgame taking the world by storm, we're now in a better place to appreciate the aftermath of what has happened. First up, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Needless to say there will be many spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so if you haven't seen it stop reading now. If you have seen it, but haven't seen the new Far From Home Trailer - or you just want to watch it again - check it out below. *Spoiler Warning* We join Peter Parker (Tom Holland) at a low point in Far From Home. The poor kid has suffered a lot in his life, having lost his parents and his Uncle Ben, now he has the loss of his friend and mentor to deal with as well. It makes sense that the superhero life would be getting a bit much for him, and that he just wants to take a break, be a kid for a while. Obviously this being a superhero movie, that's not going to happen, no matter how many times he ignores Nick Fury's (Samuel L. Jackson) calls. Holland has demonstrated some real talent in

Captain Marvel | Average Guy Movie Review

During a mission for Starforce, Kree warrior 'Vers' (Brie Larson) tracks a group of Skrulls - lead by Talos (Ben Medelsohn) - to Earth circa 1995. There she discovers that they are searching for a hidden device, one that could tip the balance of the war between these two races in the Skrulls' favour. But does 'Vers' have more of a connection to this planet than she first realised? The only person willing to help her find out is a young Agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) of S.H.I.E.L.D. Directing team Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck deliver an origin story for what is considered to be the most powerful hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Carol Danvers - A.K.A. 'Vers', A.K.A. Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). But in order to do it, they have thrown the Marvel Guide to Origin Stories right out the window. When we first meet 'Vers', she already has her powers and no memory of her life before gaining them. Which means the audience gets to discover who s

Spider-Man: Far From Home | Moustache Trailer Reaction

Well it has finally arrived, and the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home does not disappoint. Here's what we thought. Needless to say the trailer does contain some spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, so read on at your own peril... Not seen the trailer yet? Check it out below: First of all, this is a great trailer, lots of intriguing snippets and no real spoilers - apart from the aforementioned Endgame spoilers anyway. Jon Watts returns as director, continuing to develop the story and characters first seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Peter (Tom Holland) is still working as the friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler, something Aunt May (Marissa Tomei) is aware of. With the help of Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), they are using Pete's alter ego to do some charity work. There might even be some sparks flying between Happy and May. With a school trip to Europe on the cards, the teenage Avenger is looking forward to just being a teenager for a while, even electin
