When a routine op goes wrong, Hellboy (Jack Kesy) and fellow B.P.R.D. agent, Bobby Jo Song (Adeline Rudolph) find themselves lost in a remote part of the Appalachians. Maybe I've just had my head in the sand, but the release of this latest Hellboy  reboot seemed to come and go unnoticed. The tragedy of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) continues... Two years after the events of Joker , Arthur is in Arkham State Hospital awaiting trial for his crimes. There he meets Lee Quinzel (Lady Gaga), and a chaotic relationship between the pair begins. But is it Arthur that Lee is interested in, or Joker? It's both strange, and hardly surprising that what felt like a perfect standalone movie, Joker , got a sequel. Joker: Folie à Deux  somehow manages to feel both engaging and rather unnecessary. There's no denying the interest that circulated prior to release - I was certainly interested to catch up with Arthur Fleck, even after Folie à Deux was met with great criticism. But even though I was interested in a sequel, I wouldn't say I was desperate for it to happen. And now there's quite a few people that wish it hadn't, although I'm not sure I'm one of them. As for Johnson, well he's simply playing the type of character he usually plays; tough but straight. On the other hand, his co-star Chris Evans delivers a fine performance as the loveable rogue/Christmas sceptic, even though it feels like he's simply trying to escape ...

Ad-Exec Kelly Jones (Scarlett Johansson) is hired by the US government to reignite the public's interest in NASA, and their battle to beat the Soviets to the moon. Her attempts to market the space race cause her to bump heads with Launch Director, Cole Davis (Channing Tatum). But her successes please those in Washington so much they give her a slightly bigger task; fake the Apollo 11 moon landing... or at least film a fake landing just in case the real one fails. Fly Me To The Moon  is a movie of two halves. On the one hand it's a quirky rom-com about an Ad-Exec working for NASA, and on the other it's a kind of history/conspiracy drama about filming a fake moon landing. Unsurprisingly, the results are rather inconsistent. As the movie jumps between the two narratives it becomes painfully clear that the two halves just don't marry up - certainly when it comes to the movie's tone. In fact, it's like the ideas for two very different movies have been forced together...

While reading up on all things  Grinch , I stumbled across  'Tis The Grinch Holiday Podcast  (A.K.A.  'Tis The Grinch Holiday Talk Show ). Apparently, after trying to steal Christmas old Grinchy was given community service by the Whoville Department of Justice, which included hosting a holiday podcast to spread a little Christmas cheer. I think we can all imagine how that would go. The result of which is actually rather amusing; every week the jolly, green host partakes in a few festive activities, has a rant or two, and somewhere in there he finds time to interview a special celebrity guest. The voices and sound effects are great, they really bring the whole thing to life in a big way, and the humour is wacky and mildly sarcastic, meaning this podcast is festive fun for the whole family.
