I thought I was done with trailer reactions this week. But today the Red-Band trailer for The Happytime Murders hit the internet and it's side-splittingly funny! This does for muppets what Team America: World Police did for marionettes.  When a serial killer begins targeting the cast of an 80's TV show - The Happytime Gang - the brother of one of the victims becomes the prime suspect. Now, disgraced ex-cop turned Private Investigator Phil Philips (Bill Barretta) must team up with his former partner, Detective Connie Edwards (Melissa McCarthy) and out-manoeuvre both the Police and the FBI if he's going to catch his brother's killer. The Happytime Murders is directed by Jim Henson's son Brian, and is the first movie produced by Henson Alternative. Described as a neo-noir puppet crime action comedy, the movie looks to be a hilarious take on the buddy cop/detective drama. It's very crude, rude and deals with some very adult themes in laugh-out-loud

Mission: Impossible - Fallout It appears that Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) isn't done causing trouble for Ethan Hunt and the IMF. His escape re-ignites the rivalry between the Impossible Mission Force and their sister agency, the CIA. A matter only made worse by Hunt's determination to be the one to bring Lane in. Fallout is said to focus more on Hunt's personal life, which might explain said determination. Michelle Monaghan returns as Ethan's wife Julia. There's a shot in the trailer of the two of them taking part in some sort of wedding ceremony, only for what appears to be a nuclear explosion to be seen in the distance. Now, the Mission: Impossible movies aren't known for their dream sequences but there's a chance that's what this is. For this month's Genre Grandeur on Spy/Espionage movies I have chosen Spy Game. Directed by Tony Scott and starring Robert Redford and Brad Pitt, this is a gritty, more realistic spy movie. It's the polar opposite of a James Bond movie. There's no glamour, no gadgets and the type of locations that would make Jason Bourne think twice!  It's 1991, the US and China are working on a trade deal and CIA Agent Tom Bishop (Brad Pitt) has just been caught trying to break someone out of a Chinese Prison.
