Screen Junkies News reported last night that the embargo on social media reaction to Wonder Woman has been lifted and that by all accounts, things are looking good. According to one twitter user; the positive reactions broke twitter!
Critics have had very positive things to say:
Wonder Woman is the DC movie I've been waiting for. It's exciting, inspiring, funny, and has some truly awe-inspiring action scenes.— Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) 19 May 2017
Happy to report 'Wonder Woman' is a blast and @GalGadot is fantastic. Her chemistry with Chris Pine is magnetic. Absolutely recommended. pic.twitter.com/VPW4QW3IhM— Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) 19 May 2017
WONDER WOMAN: Easily my favorite DCEU film. Has the humor and heart the franchise so desperately needs. Gadot and Pine are charming as hell.— Kate Erbland (@katerbland) 19 May 2017
I have to admit, when I first read about the Wonder Woman movie I got a 'Captain America: The First Avenger' sort of vibe. The photo hint from Batman v Superman only seemed to confirm this - a shot of Diana Prince alive and well in 1918 with what appeared to be her very own Howlin' Commandoes. It looked like a bit of back story before Justice League arrives later this year. But I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong. In fact, after several great trailers, some very in depth articles and a very positive response from critics, I have to say I'm very excited about seeing Wonder Woman in cinemas.
