The Book of Boba Fett | Moustache Trailer Reaction

The first teaser for The Book of Boba Fett has arrived, and it seems that the legendary bounty hunter - although I don't think he wants to be called that anymore - wasn't finished after he reclaimed his famous armour and took control of Jabba the Hutt's palace. If you haven't seen the trailer, or you just want to watch it again, check it out below.

We always knew that Fett wouldn't just kick back and relax after taking Jabba's palace. This was never about a home. But it really is about time that this fan favourite character, this mysterious and infamous bounty hunter got to be more than just the guy who crashed and fell into a Sarlacc pit. Temuera Morrison finally got the chance to explore what Boba Fett is capable of in The Mandalorian season 2, as he and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) helped Mando (Pedro Pascal) rescue little Grogu from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). Their promise fulfilled, and Jabba's palace now under their control, it's time to find out what this formidable pair have planned for the future.

Apparently the palace isn't enough. Fett wants the territory and the power too. He plans to unite Jabba's former captains and rebuild this underworld empire to its former glory. Sound like dangerous work, but the outer rim always has been a little rough around the edges. However, Boba plans to use a different approach to the deceased Hutt; "Jabba ruled with fear. I intend to rule with respect." A policy he demonstrates when one of those captains questions why they shouldn't just kill him. After Fennec Shand points out that Jabba would have killed the captain for saying that, Boba responds by saying; "please, speak freely". Now there's nothing to say he won't kill said captain after letting him speak - something we know he and Fennec are more than capable of - but Boba has always been one to fight smart. That is how he caught the illusive Captain Solo and his friends, and delivered them to Darth Vader. Luckily for us, not everyone will accept him as their new leader, which means Boba and Fennec have some leg work to do; stomping out the competition. Looks like that gaffi stick might come in handy again.

However he chooses to take Jabba's territory, it looks like dangerous work. And with Robert Rodriguez having directed several episodes, you can expect an insane amount of action. All of which thankfully looks to be in keeping with the Star Wars universe, specifically the grittiness of the outer rim seen in The Mandalorian. No surprise given that Jon Favreau is onboard as showrunner and one of the episode directors. Other directors include Bryce Dallas Howard and Dave Filoni. With many different species appearing in the trailer, this might be a chance to get to know some of the other bounty hunters we've seen Boba Fett mingling with over the years. But it's interesting to note that Boba no longer considers himself a bounty hunter. He certainly tells a potential client as much. Is it that he wants to move into a different business as he takes over Jabba's territory? Or is it that he now considers himself management? Probably the latter. Killing Bib Fortuna was kind of an act of self-promotion. Lets hope he's more of a hands-on boss.

Boba Fett has been a fan favourite character since he first set foot on the bridge of Darth Vader's super star destroyer in The Empire Strikes Back. He didn't really get the chance to earn his reputation as this legendary bounty hunter until he appeared in The Mandalorian. Now with The Book of Boba Fett, it looks like we might get chance to learn more about who the man wearing the helmet, as he is promoted to a management position.

The Book of Boba Fett arrives on Disney+ on 29th December.

Road House | A Moustache Double-Bill

Firstly, I should probably point out that up until recently the high-kicking 1989 cult classic has eluded me - or maybe it was me eluding it. Who knows? Anyway, seeing that Doug Liman and Jake Gyllenhaal have taken it upon themselves to remake Road House  and put a 21st century spin on solving every problem by kicking, I figured; 'why not make it a double feature?' View the two movies for the first time one after the other and see how they measure up.  Naturally I took the chronological approach, starting with the original movie and then moving on to the remake. Watching this cult classic for the first time, I was struck by how much it feels like a feature length episode of The A-Team . Typical 80's good guy arrives in town, where he comes to blows with the rich guy/your typical A-Team  bad guy who thinks he owns the place. Seriously, stick that famous opening monologue on the beginning and have Patrick Swayze's 'Dalton' build some weird weapon from parts acquir...

A Million Ways To Die In The West | Average Guy Movie Review | Movierob's Genre Grandeur

For Movierob 's Genre Grandeur on Western Crossovers, I am looking at Seth MacFarlane's guide to surviving the old west for all those who aren't Clint Eastwood, A Million Ways To Die In The West. It follows Albert Stark (MacFarlane), a sheep herder on the frontier who seems to be the only person that sees the west for what it is; a dangerous, disease infested, unforgiving shit hole. "Hell, this was Miss America in 1880... ..."Holy Shit!"  After his girlfriend dumps him, Albert prepares to leave his hometown of Old Stump for San Francisco. But his plans are interrupted by the arrival of Anna (Charlize Theron), who shows him how to enjoy life. Unfortunately for Albert, Anna is married to Clinch Leatherwood (Liam Neeson), one of the most dangerous outlaws in the territory and he's none too happy about Albert spending time with his wife! The story for A Million Ways To Die In The West began as a joke between MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin and Welles...

Jason Bourne: Spoiler Review

I don't usually write spoiler filled reviews because I don't see the point. But considering my not so positive review of Jason Bourne, one of the most highly anticipated movies of Summer 2016, I thought it might be worth trying to explain why I reached the verdict I did. If you haven't seen this movie stop reading because there are spoilers ahead. Click here to see the spoiler free review. The movie begins with Bourne in Greece. He's laying low, making money by competing in underground fights and still struggling with his past. He lacks purpose which is making him miserable. Nicky Parsons on the other hand is busy hacking the CIA in order to expose their black ops programs. So far so good. But when Nicky finds something out about Jason's (or should I say David's) past, she heads to Greece to find him. Unfortunately her activities have drawn the attention of CIA Agent Heather Lee (Alicia Vikander), a cyber ops specialist who begins to track her. Using a ...
